Director/Manager of Channel Sales

Overview

We are currently searching for experienced salespersons with proven channel development success who want to be part of a fast-growing early stage innovator. This is a unique opportunity for the right individuals. A strong understanding of the market requirements and purchasing habits of Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Small/Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) is required.

Responsibilities

Use high level selling skills to recruit and train channel partners ~ Sell alongside and through channel partner sales teams to meet quotas ~ Execute selling model developed by sales and marketing management ~ Provide input to marketing/sales team on lead generating programs and then execute within designated territory to generate highly qualified inbound sales inquires ~ Develop and maintain opportunity forecast by month and quarter ~ Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly objectives with assigned resources ~ Leverage sales process by aggressive use of CRM and other tools ~ Capture and maintain detailed and accurate information in CRM systems ~ Demonstrate organizational leadership and team-building skills.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated success in selling telephony (IP Telephony) and/or telecommunications related services and systems into SMB (Small-Medium Business) market ~ Channel-based telephony selling experience with significant emphasis on channel recruitment, training and turn-up ~ Measure of success in this area is “time to turn-up” and “sell through” revenue in 1st year ~ Entrepreneurial zeal and demonstrated success in an early-stage startup environment ~ Track record in opening new territories or new services in existing territory, targeting SMBs and leveraging channel partner relationships ~ Build extensive network of channel executive relationships with existing channels in territory ~ Strong skills in sales automation ~ Excellent presentation, objection handling and closing skills a must ~ Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Senior Sales & Support Engineer

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Customer Support/Sales engineer who wants to be part of a fast growing early stage company. The right candidate must possess a “can do” positive attitude and leadership qualities. In addition the right candidate will receive a compensation package that includes a generous equity position within the company. A strong technical background in VoIP and related protocols such as SIP is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Unified Office has developed a next generation Unified Communications services platform for voice and data communications using well known cloud-based systems to create virtual “non-facilities” based back office systems that offer innovative mission critical services at a low cost of ownership. Unified Office makes extensive use of channel partners for installation and deployment to our customers across the US. We are currently seeking a Sales & Support Engineer who will be tasked with the installation, deployment and training of our solution at customer sites and with channel partners, in addition to performing Tier 1 through Tier 3 support. This position will require some travel as needed estimated between 10-20%.

Duties Include: Installation and deployment of our platform ~ Training customers and channel partners ~ Tier 1 through Tier 3 support ~ Integrating voice features with our service platform ~ Creation of product test plans ~ Performing system and protocol 
interoperability testing ~ Create and maintain standard operating procedures and customer 
training documentation ~ Serve as a subject matter expert in customer support and sales ~ Support Sales teams in pre and post sales situations.

Skills & Experience

Good working knowledge of IP Networks, Security, and VoIP protocols such as SIP, SIP-T, TRIP, SIP Trunking, RTP, Stun. Web 2.0 development skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will also have a background in QA/Interoperability such as test plan creation, protocol debugging, and systems interoperability. Experience with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian), LAMP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs and firewalls. Programming using scripting languages such as Javascipt, Python, PHP, and Unix.
